Hove...
Got back from the brighton carnival.

What an amazing afternoon !!!!!

Saw quite a few different bands and its given me the buzz to get back into a band again...

If we were to start an NSC band, who would play what and what sort of style would we go for !!!

I'm a drummer so I can be the backbone of a solid rhythm section...

I'm thinking of a kinda stadium classic rock bluesy type thing...(Can also do funk and afro cuban)

If we're any good then maybe we can be at the opening ceremony of the community stadium warming the stage up for Fatboy Slim...

Who else can play ? If not, what do you wanna do. Roadie, security, rider.....

This is the NSC Band so bring it on !!!!!!!!

Why rhythm guitar ?? Are you not good enough to bust out a blistering solo??:lol:

Why would i WANT to burst out in a face melting rape blasting solo?! I shall site one of the greatest songwriters of all time John Lennon, he didn't bother with the solos and look where he got to!

Abort, retry, fail
I set up a band, but we never actually played anything.

During my gap year, we received a Valentine card, to a certain Rex Bradshaw. Not particularly unusual, but it was delivered to our log cabin in South America, a three hour walk from civilisation, and noone had ever heard of him. An American girl, that lived with us, ran out of her room screaming that she was suffering from a 'raw funk infection' (Athlete's foot to you and I).

So Rex Bradshaw and the Raw Funk Infection was born. Maybe we will play something one day...

You'll probably win, I haven't picked it up in a while!

I sold mine 13 years ago. Got to grade 6, but was left feeling frustrated, as I could not sing and play at the same time. The plan was to buy a guitar, which I did, but it got seized by Cuban officials and I haven't toyed with the idea since. :(

I can be the production engineer; or a tech rigger / roadie with a horrific drug problem; or a relatively bad bass guitarist - assuming we're going for rock here.

Bad bass guitarist? NO. NO WAY. How will we be able to carry on the genius of Paul Mccartney with someone like you handling the sacred instrument!
