Im not sure if this is good or bad news but i have heard from a reliable source that the stipes are in fact a lighter blue & it will be released on 1st Aug.

Ther jury is out until i actually see it but it appears that the argentina rumours are true !!!!!!

in 1998-99 the new home shirt wasn't seen until after the season began. we played at carlisle in red, and the first time the new home strip was seen was at northampton in the cup

Sorry, mate, the ODPM has ruled that before any lightening of the stripes can take place, a further enquiry is needed to review all possible shades of blue. There are currently seven shades which may be considered:

Dark blue
Navy Blue
Indigo Blue
Seashell Blue
"Donatello Blue"
Blue with a hint of red ("Palarse Blue")
Slightly lighter than dark blue Blue

Falmer residents may be entitled to nominate alternative shades of blue for consideration. The further enquiry is likely to take four to five months, and the resulting shirts will be in the club shop in time for the start of the 2008/09 season.

Err we played in red at Carlisle mainly down to the fact that they play in blue and we were the away team.
And I confidently predict we will play in yellow at Reading, for the same reasons.

really? bloody hell i never would have known

i was stating that because people would otherwise go 'errr, no, we would've worn it first game of the season' if they didn't know we were playing a team in blue

What? Well then the last few seasons we have not worn the new home kit until the second or third game of the season as we generally start away.
