The mythical 52 points needed for safety

Like most Albion fans I keep doing the BBC predictor and one thing I've noticed is that each time I have the 4th from bottom relelgated on anything between 45 and 49 points. I suspect that the relative form of the top 6 or 7 teams means that we could see a record high points achieved for 6th placed play-off and a record low achieved for 5th from bottom safety. I just can't see any of the top sides except B'muff sliding down the table. I can't see any of the bottom sides barring Sheff Weds coming good - but they're more or less safe anyway and my thinking isn't based on any rational idea but on the basis that the biggest club in League One surely has to come good some time.

Anyone else getting these kind of results on their predictor.
