I remember seeing it in the cinema - it was the first non U film that I ever saw. It had an A rating, don't know why, it seems pretty mild to me.

The greatest film ever.
I am still horrified they did a Hollywood remake. I will never watch that film.
Now go get me Camp Freddie...

I remember seeing it in the cinema - it was the first non U film that I ever saw. It had an A rating, don't know why, it seems pretty mild to me.

Possibly my favourite film of all time. Much to my regret, I've never seen it on the big screen. I keep hoping the Duke of Yorks will show it again some time.

I saw it on a giant screen at Victoria Park Hackney about 10 years ago. The whole crowd chanted "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off" in unison.

It is a film made to watched in a large crowd.
