Did anyone watch it? It's genuinely amazing. For anyone who doesn't remember, Gemma Barker is a girl who invented 3 male personalities to have relationships with a couple of her female friends. She's currently in prison.

That's the lady in question. I actually think she's quite attractive.

My thoughts exactly... until i watched the documentary... Im sure you would be able to find it on 4od. its a bit creepy but a very good watch. The girls were very young and you can see how easily Gemma mananged to trick them. Disturbing stuff

It's an amazing documentary. I linked it on 4oD in my original post. Without wanting to be harsh, because the girls have been through a horrible ordeal, Jess is a brilliant character actress. If you watch the documentary, you'll see what I mean. She comes across in a kind of comical way. Such a strange story. And then, after all of this, Jess met ANOTHER male on MSN and now he's her boyfriend! Such an incredible documentary. Channel 4 are absolutely brilliant at this kind of programme.

Gemma Barker also committed fraud... She claimed that Luke Jones had punched her in the face, and broke her jaw. However, Luke Jones WAS Gemma Barker! Mentel.

I love anything psychological. This is such a bizarre case. Even when it started to unravel, the police were chasing a fictitious male. It was only when they'd arrested who they thought was Connor (or was it Aaron?!) did they discover he was, in fact, female. There's a wonderful bit in the documentary where Jess says, without a hint of irony, "they finally take the hat off him and all the hair falls down and the female cop says, "You're a GIRL!"". I know it's not meant to be funny, but it's just so wonderfully delivered.

I enjoyed it. Beforehand I wondered how on earth the girls fell for it, but having seen it I agree with [MENTION=18846]sussexadz121[/MENTION] - Gemma/Luke/Cona was able to take advantage of the naivity that comes with young age.
