* Everton boss David Moyes has been promised transfer funds of GBP29m in January, we were going to say, until chairman Bill Kenwright emerged to deny such talk. As Moyes has been eyeing up the likes of Brighton's Dan Harding, it doesn't really matter.
* John Prescott has given the nod to Liverpool's plans to move to Stanley Park. Quite why he couldn't do the same for Brighton's stadium plans we don't know.
