Let the cockney day trippers pay for the Albion come on Panter's
successor pull your finger out give some of my council tax cash

Cannot believe what I have just read. Brighton & Hove City Council is ALWAYS strapped. It overspends on virtually everything and is left with a big deficit at the end of the financial year...

same council that sold off town hall and leases back .. nice !! bunch of muppets does nothing for sport dosent understand or realise the money it generates for city ... back in 90's when le tour hit town we paid to have stage finish in brighton .. for extra 100k we could have had the tour start in brighton or hove the next day ...ie generating extra income but said no thinking the whole thing causing disruption etc would cost... all in all it made money and pompey made by having a tour stage start and finish in the town the next day ... .. lack of forsight in the city which still goes on to this day !!
