having a look at both squads what amazed me was connoly alone was around 500,000!!! our squad yesterday must have cost pennies

so overall our team cost around 150k if im correct!

compare that to connoly alone and he cost 3.5 times the amount of our whole team. very impressive on our account in my opinion and really brings to light how much a level up this league is to ours!

I'm pretty sure Kuipers was free, so if what UB says about Knight is also true, then the total cost of our team is £50k, less than £5,000 per man. Which is probably what most of Leicester's squad get paid each week.

The only one that would have cost money from promotion was Iwelumo and that was if he stayed and as he did the offski, it did not matter.

As far as I know not. It seems when he is sold on, they get about 50% of the fee. I suspect this is going to become the norm with these youth and reserve players at top clubs that do not quite cut it. The smaller clubs do not have or are willing to part with cash up front for these untried players and so clubs will agree these sell on deals.

Hopefully something similar can be agreed for Nicolas.
