The Cat has NOT crept in !

Pretty funny story about Cat Stevens the Muslimmed singer of soft folky pop meowsic. He was caught trying to 'nip' over to America, where he is banned as a 'suspected terrorist'.
Of course it DOES seem a little ott to ban the unkempt little bugger, but once the 'cat was out of the bag' morning was broken and Tuesday's Dead for Stevens as they diverted the plane and made him paws for deportation immediately. Get Cat a tonic!

(hisssssssss as NMH gets his feline furlined coat)

NMH did you type that in your five minute break between your cup of cold coffee and slice of cake?

I have to say though, that whenever I am in an airport or on a plane, I do check around me for any 'types' that might fit a profile that ...er........ I might feel uncomfortable about on the same transport as me. That is a dodgy view to take, but I believe I'm not the only one who feels that way.

If I were on a plane with Cat, I'd probably try telling him I'm high on a peace train, and not to try blowing me up because I listened to his records (I mean, every bloody girlfriend I ever had in the early 70's had Teaser and the friggin' Firecat or Tea for the bleedin' Tillerman)

agreed NMH . . .I saw a bloke the other week . . . sleazey looking, dodgy facial hair, looked like he didnt go out much, very strange dress sense, dodgy 80's leather jacket, white trainers, birief case, and despite it being 'late summer warm' he was wearing black leather gloves . . . . .gave me the heebie jeebies. . . . . . .

then I remembered I was in Manchester, still not what I wanted to see strolling through the airport though

"Shakin Stevens" suspiciously used hide behind a green door!!

Can anyone else think of examples why people with the surname of "Stevens" may be dodgy?
