the ball

going in 2-1 at half time, but from earlier it occured to me what our problem was - the ball. As i understand it, its lighter then the regular ball we use, and i couldnt help notice our player seem to constantly overhit the ball, especially when trying to play in Owen. Yes we're 2-1 up now but dont seem to have been able to 'zero' our range.

so, is the ball causing us a bit of difficulty. Discuss.

its a bloody disco ball

i've actually had a kickabout with it and it is pony (not as bad as the WC2002 one but still bad)

I ot my lad one of these in April when we were in France and it is very light - however they could always train with it !

well i assume they would be training with it, but as training is not competitive they'd not gain the full feel for it. rooney's strike (Marvellous Scenes) is somewhat irrelevant, its the long passes that are affected, and also deflections seem to fly up into the air and our midfield and forwards are not blessed with height
