People moan about the lack of atmosphere at the Withdean but I'm sure the crowd made a real difference to the players in the final part of the Northampton match.
The ovation at the drinks break was inspired, I'm sure, by EastLondonSeagull. I saw him stand and applaud first then most of the South Stand followed his lead. The team really battled afterwards and the players and manager made reference to it after the match. I'm sure it shows that every single supporter *can* make a difference - even at the dead old Withdean ! Well done to ELS and to everyone who followed.
