As clean and powerful strike as you could wish to see. As soon as that left his boot, you knew the keeper had no chance. I thought his contributions all night were good - given it was his first game...much better than Benjamin. Watch Soccer AM on Saturday cos that will deffo feature in the best Div 2 goals this week. Absolute classic and worth the admission fee alone.

Agreed.

Saw you standing near the coach but didn't get the chance to say hello.

lumo seems to be better in the air than benji. and i cannot imagine benji scoring a goal like that either. on 1st game he looks like a good buy.

Great goal, good corner followed up with a good climb and header downwards giving the keeper no chance...

Great control on the chest from the throw and a cracking lash. But a little bit too agricultural to say it's the best goal, prefer Leon's skilled chip the other day.

Before you get too carried away Darius Henderson scored on his debut.

But then again so did Bobby Zamora and Jake Robinson!

So did Zesh Rehman. What I like about Iwelumo is that he runs about and gets into position too.
A couple of nice flick ons with his head too.

Let's hope he keeps it up.

He had a brilliant first touch. A bit like Jake Robinson.

And he is bound to win things in the air.
