seemed a good idea , certainly pretty much filled that middle section behind the goal.

Reckon we should do this for Forest , could potentially be a 7k+ crowd

Abort, retry, fail
I don't think they will be able to do it for long.

If you think that the breakdown of a £24 tickets is something along the lines of this....

£4 travel
£5 rent of stadium (obviously depending how many are sold)
£4.20 VAT

The club is only left about £10 from a ticket.

The crowd was only just above the previous levels, so I suspect we made much less despite the slight increase in attendance.

Those that attend most games and normally pay £24, were able to take up the offer of £5.

Also some season ticket holders may start to get annoyed

More like some season ticket holders won't be renewing in a few weeks time.I certainly won't be.
I miss 3 or 4 home games a season due to family commitments, so i'd be better off buying tickets for each match, and if these offers are now being thrown in, there really is little point in being a season ticket holder

Providing you accept the fact you might not sit in the same seat.

Attendance though would suggest the majority of people in the cheap seats were the people who usually pay on a game to game basis anyway. If that's the case, the club will have lost more revenue!

That depends upon where you want to be. The younger members of the Bracknell posse (who either live in London or have work commitments that regularly prevent them from going to games) have always been able to get hold of tickets for H-Block, even at VERY late notice.

Have to say one of the peole behind me stopped renewing abolut 3 or 4 years ago, and his seat is nearly always empty. Someone else behind me cant make about a quarter of the matches a year, and so now buys them on a match by match basis, he ha always got his old seat. Think after this amount of time that the single seats from non-renewers are hardly ever taken over

i was going to buy a season ticket when i got back from india, they said it would cost me £220 for the rest of the season (10 games) i nearly did it, and got the same seat as my season ticket for all the other withdean seasons.
i decided against it - but i have always got a ticket for £15 max, my season ticket seat is always free, so i have always gone and sat there in the j block

think i have paid £45 for the last 4 home games
