I thought Chris McPhee had a good game too and, for once, I'm inclined to agree with FG's sentiments. A first?

:)

Not meaning to take anything away from McPhees performance but there wasn't anyone else worthy of the award.

Get the new man in Sharpish....today if possible.
Agreed they all need an arse kicking.

Agreed Marshy, and the harder the kicking, the better. With a few exceptions, the players have been a disgrace lately.

Yes fully agree re: Mc Phee. I do feel that some of the players knew that they had underacheievd on Saturday. You only had to look at the way they went off the pitch.

I agree with every one else on this post. We need the manager now!

McPhee has been one of the few success stories this season, has come on a ton since his debut against Wrexham two seasons ago.

Now he is getting a run in the team think he will imporve as the season progresses.

Chris McPhee was the only player I clapped off at the end on Saturday. His hold up play was superb, was so frustrating that there was no midfield support for him to lay it back to. His shot on the volley in the second half deserved a goal and produced the only save I can remember their keeper having to make. If only the rest of the team could show the heart and desire that McPhee brings week in week out to the team we wouldnt have performances like Saturday.

The only other player who was slightly deserving in our support on Saturday was big Guy Butters who in the first half provided our most potent threat in attack as he won headers at near enough every corner, now all he needs to do is get them on target.

Completely agree McPhee was MOM.
But also thought Watto looked pretty good too. His passing and link up play down the right, put the Mayo/Jones disaster down the left to shame.

McPhee never stopped running and that 2nd half volley would have been a contender for goal of the season.

We do I think have major midfield problems. Zesh has not lived up to our expectaions and was poor, as were the two full backs both who played far to narrow, at times it was like we were playing with 4 centre backs, and Kuipers looked and kicked like he did 4 seasons ago.
