Good to see Sol back yesterday but Terry had a mare of a game yet again for England - Young bailed him out at far post and the bar also saved him.

Indeed. I'm afraid he is nowhere near as good as he's made out to be. Sol + Rio is the number one partnership if they can both get fit and on form.

If Jonathan Woodgate ever gets fit, he could potentially be another option too. We're rather lucky in that we have four of the world's best central defenders.

the trouble is when he plays for chelsea he has Makelae in front of him clearing up most of the attacks, so i guess he struggles when he plays for england as no one is there

If it was a simple as that don't you think he would of been caugh out ages ago, especially with the quality of other players after his position - Gallas, Carvalho, Huth..

I thought Terry had a good game yesterday he's definately number one choice at the moment imho. Even though i was glad campbell started his distribution let him down a bit yesterday
