You need money to buy racquets, balls, and to hire a court...
With football you need a football.
And that's it.

So footballs are free are they

plus you have to hire a court, most council courts are shit, so this puts people off, to hire GOOD courts, you have to pay mega bucks, you need a GOOD raquet, which costs, and GOOD balls, which cost. you need coaching, which costs.
to get far, you have to cough up mega bucks, to get far in football, you need boots, doesn't make that much differance how expensive they are, you could get a decent pair for £20, a football, doesn't make any differance how much it costs, could get a decent one for under £5.
so to make it big in football, it can be done for pretty much nothing, all you need is to be noticed.
in tennis you need to be a member of a good club, which costs loads
