Peter Taylor was one of the guests for Sky's coverage of the City v Spurs game today.
Of course having David Pleat in charge of team playing away at City that did the most predictable thing as always. They went on about (and showed coverage) of his stupid jig on the pitch after Luton had stayed up at Maine Road in '83.
When they went back to the studio Richard Keys asked Taylor what he thought of it. Taylor's face was one of hatred and he spat: "what the dance?, well, he had nice shoes". I got the distinct impression that Pleat is not one of Taylor's favourite people.
Is there a history between these two?
