I remember cattlin had to go for the same reason. He did well with a small squad and limited budget, but pushed for more money and threatened resignation if he didn't get it.

I don't think Taylor did anything wrong for us, and can't understand the vitriol. We've had managers who have done us much more harm.

Taylor was okay for a shrimp, my only gripe with the guy was him bothering to turn up at the victory parade (and not joining in) a few days before his resignation was made official.
