Swindon actually hate us.. why??

We have managed to really piss off swindon fans. They want their rival Bristol City, a team they normally like to see lose, to completely play us off the park and win. We have brought rivals together, the reprocussions of our win are emmense.

It seems like one of their main problems is that we ran over to their fans at the end of the game to gloat about our win. I know many fans went over and I was one of them but we were clapping them as well as following our players back to the tunnel.

Maybe this is just the anger faze that they are going but I have read a few chat room and it does seem to be a majority view. We have been described like we were a bunch of savages that were just looking for a fight.. Nothing could be further from the truth. We had just witness a historic win that will be remembered for decades to come and was just overwhelmed by emotion.

Is'nt it great just to say, "Withdean 20-05-04 Brighton Vs Swindon I WAS THERE". I will never forget that night, nothing even come closes. I still cannot believe how close we came to going out.

It wasn't like that but things have a tendancy to be exagerated when your upset.

However I suppose the chanting of seagulls could have been taken the wrong way. Hey, I not worried but I feel that they won't forget for a long time. It will be interesting the next time we play them.

There were plenty of Brighton fans goading Swindon, but it certainly wasn't all one way traffic. One Swindon fan in particular was walking out and then stopped for a couple iof minutes giving it the wankerr signs. So i simply just shouted "You can watch us on the telly"

There was a little bit of handbags at the bottom of Tongdean Lane near the pedestrian crossing and two or three went into the road in front of a car but it was soon sorted out and everything quietened down.

We walked back to Claremont Rd with some Swindon fans who wanted to know the way back to Preston Park station.
