it's not just the initial fee, there's his wages too. They may be paying him silly money

This. They still have parachute money, so like Reading and Burnley are able to outbid on wages other clubs like the BHA who appear of similar or greater size. Bolton
appear to be making no effort to clear their vast debts.

Isn't his character questionable? Seems like the scouting team are putting a huge emphasis on the personality of the players brought in, and rightly so IMO.
