Super Furries Live Event....

The Lightning Fryday event will take place on October 1 at London's Royal Festival Hall. Described as one of the band's most ambitious live events yet, Lightning Fryday will see the band take over the venue for the evening with a live performance, SFA activities and special guests in several rooms, extending beyond the RFH boundaries to nearby landmarks. Reappearances from some of the band’s old acquaintances are rumoured.

Ticket details will be anounced shortly.


I urge you all to go, this will be an experience, anoyone who has seen a live show by SFA will be quite rightly very excited by this.

If Y Cyrff (who one of SFA and one of Catatonia used to be in) Datblygu, Traddodiad Ofnus and Anhrefn play (not to mention the legendary Fflaps) I'd have been there - except that I'm playing at the (exquisitely named) Frog and Nightgown in Worksop that night on my mini tour of Nottinghamshire after Forest away.

Datblygu were brilliant. Sort of melodic Fall meets John Cale - in Welsh.
