SUNDAYS SIX A SIDE - POSTPONED-
This Sunday's final of the Winter Six-a-side Tournament has now been
POSTPONED.
The pitches have been cancelled, and there will be NO games at The Triangle
this Sunday. This seemed to be what most players wanted, including myself,
and I think it's the right decision.
This action has been taken as a direct result of the local planning
inspectors report, and the state it has left Albion fans and The Club in.
It would be wrong to go ahead with emotions so highly charged, and Sunday
may well be needed for other things.
As for re-arranging the games, it may be best to wait and see what the next
few days, or even weeks bring. It is going to be a very turbulent time, and
it might not be a good idea to re-arrange so soon.
One idea would be for the finals day to be the week before the start of the
new League Season. Sort of a curtain raiser, if you like.
Anyway, please could all captains let ALL of their players know about the
postponement to avoid anyone turning up and being disappointed on the day.
I hope everyone feels this is the right decision.
