Sun tan cream that wont run when you sweat ( from sport!!!! )

Right Guys and Gals

I need your help, With some summer sport on the horizon and the hair fast disappearing due to age I need to find some sun tan cream that wont run into my eyes

The combination of contact lenses and cream is not a good one. Have tried those brands that we all take on our summer hols and have not had much luck

HELP................

For tennis or golf wear a cap.

Do what the cricketeers do and get the sunstick which is like lip balm, only with sun cream, and apply to the nose and cheeks like tribal war paint.

Calypso or P20 once a day. 1 application and you're good for all day. I've used both and never burn. Get the Calypso from Amazon and it's only about 7 quid.

Ok. P20 then. Apply before you go in sun and let it dry before you start sweating!

Ultrasun Sport is the best 'once a day'. It's also the first one I've tried that stops prickly heat and I used to suffer quite badly with it. Highly recommend it

I've used it also. Not much difference between it and Calypso apart from about 15 quid a bottle.

Easy apply your chosen sun cream and just sit on your a r se and do nothing

Been using P20 for many years, never been sunburnt when using it, been out and about, 40 degree plus, all over the place, not just lying on the beach. Slap, it on 15 mins before you go,out and you're done for the day. They do, it in SPF 15, 20 & 50 nowadays too.

Aha my specialist subject (unfortunately)

Uvistat is a "physical" sunblock so reflects the sun rather than absorbs it and therefore very good at stopping sun reactions or any burning. But .. It is very thick and gloopy and if you're sweating a lot it can end up with you having white streaks on your face where it doesn't sink in so to speak

See if you can get hold of some LaRoche Possay Anthelios melt in cream .. Boots and lloyds pharmacy sell it but that particular one is having availability issues in some areas but they do other versions. It is also a physical sunscreen (one that contains either zinc oxide or titanium dioxide but fewer other chemicals to react to) but does literally melt in so shouldn't run and doesn't leave the white ghostly look.

The other one to maybe try is Sunsense (John Lewis have it but not sure where else). You can get a little rollerball bottle which might be handy for carrying with you. Again physical sun reflector rather than absorber.

Those 3 are the ones available on prescription for specific sun related health issues so are recognised as the best available. From my own experience (have to wear factor 50+ full block all year round) Uvistat I didn't get on with, Sunsense is good and the roller bottle is useful but my personal fave is the melt in for lack of stickiness etc and ease of use as it really does melt in without sticking to everything.

Can't comment on the sun absorbing sun creams though .. The irony of being allergic to both the sun and the majority of commercial sunscreens
