It is stupid to apply this rule to pre-season games when players are trying to get fit, they are wholly different from friendly internationals

the whole point of pre-season friendlies are that you try out players, poistions etc, I dont really care if its a different team in the 2nd half!

Could they not class them as PRACTICE games and charge a fee to go into the club house and get a cup of tea at say Worthing or Lewes. Because you are there havinga cup of tea you may as well watch them practicing.
