i see southampton have been forced to change their home strip to play in the Eufa cup.. Stripes are no longer allowed on the back of shirts to enable names and numbers to be read more easily so its a plain back from now on..Oh the power of tv .. Feck the fans !!

At the foot of the downs
Thats been a rule for about 5 years or so, most clubs though just use the numbers on a patch, see Inter, Celtic etc etc, poor old Southampton fans have to but a new kit, and by the looks of it its only gonna be needed for 1 more match

oh dear !!

Surely it's not feck the fans.... don;t you prefer when you can actually tell which player is which? I do.. Can't stand numbers straight on stripes.

Panels don't always work tho do they.

Anyone recall the 1990 shirt with red numbers and names on a blue patch.............not to mention exactly the same problem with te first Skint shirt in 99 which were to quote the club "rubbish".

Couldn't read a thing.
