Strangers in the Leon Knight

I'm getting confused. Anyone have any credible info. on what McGhee is doing with Knight? He was left off against QPR, bar the last minute. He played at Littlehampton, but there again so did some of his peers.

The media pre match write ups hint at no team change from McGhee for tommorow...not sure I buy that, but not sure whether to expect Knight anymore of if this is all part of figuring out the best way to use him, Molango, Jarrett etc.

So I'm not sure, is it is a case of playing the best team as McGhee has been or is it a case of McGhee isn't quite sure how to play the best players?

Strikers that don't score tend to get dropped, can't fault McGhee if he doesn't pick Leon when Virgo is causing more problems than the "ex Premiership" striker. We don't play to Leon's strengths, so why play him?

I thought he would be better suited to this division than he appears to be and McGhee has yet to find a strike partner that compliments him. Iwelumo, Molango and Virgo haven't inspired him and it's too early to know if he will play off McPhee. I hope McGhee finds the solution soon because Knight is one hell of an exciting player when he is on song.

Need Knight playing in games like this i feel.

I mean Gillingham are going to be one of the weaker sides we play this season so need to put best 11 out and go for victory and in my eyes LEON KNIGHT is in our best 11!!!
