David Stockdale has revealed how Albion were lifted by their supporters after a tough first half at Brentford.
The Seagulls shared a 0-0 draw but did not really start playing until the second period.
Stockdale revealed: “After our*first-half performance, we weren’t happy.
“Let’s just draw a line under that.
“The good thing is any other team might have been booed. We weren’t. We were clapped off.
“That’s the type of fans that are travelling for us.
“We came in and said we’d got to it for ourselves and for the fans who had travelled all this way on a Boxing Day.
"They don’t have to spend their Christmas watching us and we had just put a performance in like that. It’s not good enough.”
He added: “After our first-half performance, which wasn’t good enough, it’s a good point and clean sheet. They are a very good side.”
