David Stockdale makes a brilliant save

David Stockdale hopes his luck has changed after making one of the most unconventional saves of his career.
The Albion goalkeeper preserved a second successive clean sheet – and his sixth in the last ten games – at Ewood Park on Saturday after keeping out a second-half header from Jordan Rhodes with his nose.
Stockdale brilliantly tipped the initial effort onto a post from point blank range with the rebound hitting him in the face and deflecting to safety.
It completed a rollercoaster seven days for the 29-year-old who was guilty of a costly blunder in the 1-1 draw with Wolves the previous weekend.
Stockdale said: “The header deflected off Greg (Halford) and I thought it was in to be honest. I managed to get a finger on it and push it onto the post. I was lying there and didn’t really have time to think so I headed it and it hit me in the nose. It was a bit lucky I suppose.
