Still no news on Hartlepool then?

One game to go and still no news on what punishment they are going to get.
They have reached 52 points, so, as it stands they are safe.
A 3 point deduction would put them right back in the mire.
The closing date for their submission was last Monday ( 26/4 ) so how long does it take to make a decision?
This is a tricky one for the League as I imagine they hoped Pool would be comfortably safe before they deduct any points.
Well, hard luck chaps...pull yer fingers out and knock the points off now, so all the others know where they stand.
( My cynical mind can see them deducting 1 point...which effectively would keep Pool up on goal diff )

I heard on the radio last night, that a decision is going to be made this coming Tuesday.

They wouldn't even do that if it were halfway through the season.

Yes it would. One point ahead of relegation zone is in the mire

Erm.... Well I'd say 49 points and 1 point above the drop zone is pretty much in the mix with one game to go. Wouldn't you??

Humble apologies, I misread the league table. I still think they should get more than a 3 point deduction though.

Sorry, am I missing the point, but how does any punishment affect us?
FA to sort it Tuesday, followed by Football League on Thursday(or vice/versa) if anyone's really bothered.

No it wouldn't.

Yes it would as they would have 49 points with 2 teams on 48. Taking 3 points should be automatic as they gained them illegally. The big question is will the League deduct them any points as a punishment, if they take 3points that will virtually relegate them or make it difficult for them to avoid it as a win would only put them back on 49, making it very tight.

Keep up old man.
