WHAT ****s!!!

Took me away for singing a chant absolute knobs!

Steward said "I'm giving you an official warning for singing and standing, do it again and ill reject you, go back to your seat."

Surely if it was an official warning would he not need my name???:lolol:

Amazingly in a seated arena by law you should sit

Hang on - i think we need to know the whole story here

a) What were you singing?
b) Did you get ejected for doing what he told you not to do?

Sorry am I missing the point here?

He have you a warning.

Did you decide to ignore the warning or did you not understand the warning?

This argument does my head in a bit to be honest. I'd love to stand in a terrace, I really would but the local coucil decree that you have to seat in all seated arena then what are the stewards supposed to do ?

Ok, make me sound like an old fart, but again I witnessed people standing up for no other reason than to wind the stewards up.

Come on be honest, as soon as someone get asked to sit down, a "stand up if you want Falmer" starts :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Of course, others (like above) may get caught up into that and get warned/thrown out for the slightest indescretion.

We were in danger last season of having out away allocation decreased because the away fans have a reputation for "persistant standing"

I understand the arguments and have a lot of sympathy for them. but until we get terraces back the stewards will always do this, because thats their job.

but sitting down in an away end is shit. as soon as the stewards get their way and the whole block sits down the atmosphere disappears.

stand up. keep standing.

'Stand up if you want Falmer' gets right on my tits, to be perfectly honest. I'm all for the sentiment, of course, and would happily sing about wanting Falmer for the whole match, but every time I sit down, I've got to bloody stand up again. Find it boring and annoying, frankly.

I agree, I would rather us have our away allocation cut, than have a shite atmosphere at all away games.

But the FA are allowed to keep cutting the allocation until it gets to zero - what you going then ?

It's not the stewards or the clubs fault - it's part of the safety certificate which is the fault of the Taylor Report. People to blame are politicians and police all whom supported the report and passed laws based on it's recommendations.
