Anyone else get hold of this.
Watch the film last night, still amazing as it ever was.

But the Documentries are one big George Lucas ass kiss, yawn.

It has upped my curiosity over Episode 3 though, if you watch carefully there are lots of things that just dont tie up with the new trilogy, the originals will always be the best.

only watched A New Hope so far, got wiered coloured boxes around a couple of Tie Fighters...f*** knows what that was all about! Empire Strikes Back tonight me thinks


oh and they did'nt edit out the Storm Trooper walking into the door...marvelous

and in fact they did'nt sound like the actors voice of Jango Fett from Episode II....which was supposed to happen...or was that just me?

I have watched all three sooo many ties since monday. Absloutely f***ing quality films. SPecial features ain't that special but the films are well good quality.

It has got me really looking forward to Episode III and seeing how Anakin becomes Darth Vader

no, the first film or Episode IV (that is 4 right? my roman numericals are shit) has always been called Star Wars: A New Hope, same as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back etc etc etc

Think you'll find that the original books were named and at the beginning of Star Wars the story pretext (that disappears into space) starts with "IV - A New Hope"

Are these DVDs the remastered films with extra scenes and new Jabba etc? A pointless exercise imho

I think since they did the special editions and George Lucas came up with the idea of doing the prequels.

When the fabulous title sequence starts, doesn't it kick off with STAR WARS - A New Hope" ? They could hardly have released it and publicised it as "Episode IV" could they, cos people would be going "eh ?"

"Eh ?" They'd go, as they were queuing.
