A load of Bolanos
I hadn't felt the need to post before, despite lurking around NSC for a number of years.
However, I paid my first visit to the AMEX a couple of weeks ago as well as taking the tour and felt compelled to write just what a magnificent stadium it is with fantastic facilities with an amazing view from the top of the West Stand - I really was blown away.
I know for those of you that are frequent visitors to the AMEX you know all this already but it just left me immensely proud of how far the club has come since the end of the Goldstone era.
I can't promise I'll ever post again, but a bit of background on me for those that are interested... I moved from Peacehaven to Derbyshire in my late teens (2003 I think it was) to move near a girl who earlier this year became my wife. My first Albion experience was a 2-2 draw at the Goldstone when I was probably around the age of 10/11 but I have no idea who we played! I was a fairly frequent visitor to the Goldstone and the Withdean without being a STH (I didn't visit Gillingham, apologies for that
).
I do the majority of away games situated in the Midlands, going to Villa, Stoke, Leicester, Derby, Coventry, Forest, Birmingham, Walsall, Leeds and Huddersfield among others in recent years as well as the Millenium Stadium trip in 2004. Looking forward to Wolves this season.
Will seriously be trying to get down to the AMEX again this coming season to see a game so I can truly feel part of the new direction the club is taking.
Cheers
