PENALTY SPOT, STATE OF GROUNDS BY PORTUGAL FA
The football authorities need to get a grip the stadiums half finished chaos getting in2 sum grounds on time and a pen spot like a kids sand castle at the beach. Why didnt the ref insist on them taken at other end or was that just as bad? Ray Clemance and Owen have spoken publicly they knew it was bad so why didnt Beckham do the simple thing instead try be clever and place it? Not good enough i dont wanna see him take another England Penalty.

Not good enough penalty was p155 poor he is supposed to be a striker isn’t he? Should never wear the England shirt again. Hopeless, clueless, even Heskey is better and that’s saying something

World class was appallingly fouled and how the Portugeese wasn’t sent off dunno. Good luck for getting fit fir next season the worlds number one game needs you. Your country unfortunateky were stumped and didn’t know what to do without you.

Quality. Superb for a player that I never rated I stand to be corrected. Good game superb goal out this world. No way should that been disallowed. Then wasn’t the ref Swiss? Three goals to no reply springs to mind. John Terry made no contact.

How people can slate him I dunno he did well and will get better. He scored a penalty which is more than can say of the failures that didn’t. Stand up John Terry and take your applause.
FRANK LAMPARD
Quality and he just gets better and better and better. How lucky are the Chelskis and Premiership to have this quality. Confident reliable and a pleasure to watch. Stand up Frank Lampard and take your applause.
SVEN
Is that Swedish fir W*****? He has to go, wheres the passion shown by the Foreign (Brazillian) Manager that the opposition had, they had an upper hand on that already. Does he care like **** does he, HIS team are still in it after all. He has to go for **** sake English FA get an ENGLISH manager! Why take playmaker Gerrard off when the teams practically built around him? Hargreaves anyone know why this clown and selfish player is in the team? Sven answers please? You also know about state pitch Sven so why didn’t you play to that with the penalties?

Ok I was a doubted still am but some excellent tackles and was that your best game ever? Stand up and be counted take your applause Ashley Cole.

Whilst your not the best no one can match you in this country and the commitment the way the defeat hurt the pride squashed you could see it in you at end of the game something you share a pride to play for your country so lacking in the team manager.

Today feels sombre like flying half mast. Stand up and be proud the fans that made the trip and behaved. How sad that some need to take to destroying pubs etc in this country and what the **** was going on that that pub siege where took cops 2 hours to restore order.!

I don’t feel we lost. We didn’t we won the ref was wrong and England were cheated outta Euro 2004 glory. Ok we didnt play as well as could second half but we did enough and shouldve won. Robbed by the ref. Devastated and it hurts.
