How is this information released, is it a set time of day for all premier league clubs. Do other clubs get word of those players who are not in the squads at the same time or is it down to individual contacts.

I just don't know the process any info please ...

I think its all announced at the same time , 30 minutes before the transfer deadline ends.

Many thanks Rookie, must mean that players not in 25 man squads let this be known via agents etc before end of transfer window otherwise there would be an awful lot of disgruntled, unemployed and potentially talented players kicking around for a few months

Out of interest... Anyone know how many teams have more than 25 players over the age of 21?

I wouldnt imagine too many have.

It's not just the 25 limit though, they also need at least 8 of those to be 'home grown' or they can't take up the full 25 man allowance.
