Sporting exchange?????

Yesterday I missed a call from a company called sporting chance. They told my mum that I registered the day b4 and they just needed to speak to me but couldnt go into any further details with her.

as you can guess, I havent ever registered with them, never even heard of them.

A quick google search for them,looks like they have links to betfair!

Anyone ever been in a similar situation or have an idea what I should do

Ignore it - soon as you call back you'll be on a premium rate number anyhow. Change your passwords on everything you can incase someones "borrowed" your identity, and let them contact you. Simples.

From memory, Sporting Exchange - or something very similar - is the registered name of Betfair's parent company, but they don't ever ring anyone up to sell them an account as far as I know, and even if they did, they would say they were from Betfair, not Sporting Exchange, Sporting Chance or anything else.

From memory, Sporting Exchange - or something very similar - is the registered name of Betfair's parent company, but they don't ever ring anyone up to sell them an account as far as I know, and even if they did, they would say they were from Betfair, not Sporting Exchange, Sporting Chance or anything else.

Yeah I do have a betfair account, but have had for months now,so obviously didnt register recently as suggested.

I've changed my login details now and might just email them and see what they have to say!!
