SPL - How good a standard is it?

Personally I'd say that it was actually fairly unusual for decent players to suddenly turn shit, around that age, when they should be at their peak. Maybe that's what playing in a poor league does to you?

Disagree, all sorts of players quickly fall out of favour with their clubs - particularly as they start to pick up injuries more regularly etc around then. For what its worth I'm not making any comments about the level of the SPL, just that I think its a bit unfair to judge it on a collection of Old Firm rejects at Boro.
