Indeed, it doesn't. Any idiot can still skip back a year quite easily and randomly bounce if they want.

The lack of a search function stops the NON-RANDOM bouncing of threads to resurrect a discussion that may have once again become relevant. That's why it's an important function of the site and I hope it can return if the techie probs can be sorted.

But as with all the key management decisions about this site, the judgment has to be left to Bozza because he's the guy who puts the time and effort into keeping it all going, not us.
