Thr Cricketer opposite the King Alfred, although the onl prob might be parking although is a bank holiday so restrictions not as tight. Failing that you could head into town centre although wouldn't recommend on a bank holiday as it will take till next weekend to get out.

 I think you are right. Definitely the best bet, and they do fairly good food. Could consider parking in Tesco car park. DO you get two hours or something if you spend £5 there.....

Yeah you do, but think a lot of the road restrictions will be lifted as is a bank holiday, if not 2 hours parking down there (Osboune Villas) is only about 80p anyway.

Of if not there is The Cricketers in Southwick, they have big car park, kids are definaltely allowed, and do decent grub. Not sure where you are but it's only about 5-10 minutes from the Sussex

Kids arn't allowed in the "sports bar" side of the Cricketers in Southwick though. However, if you are a bad parent then there is a park outside that you can leave them in, unsupervised.

There is one telly in the restaurant bit, but last time I was there it wasn't working. If you have good eyes, you can see the tellys in the middle bit.

Are kids allowed in the middle bar? Know they serve food in there and have the teles and sofas, just not sure about the kids thing?

Nope, kids are not allowed in the middle bar. I think theres a sign on one of the ceiling beams saying "no children beyond this point".
