I said the new Michael Owen, that was a tad tongue in cheek. I made the analogy though simply because his style tonight (I'm a solly virgin) was reminiscent of a 17/18 year old Owen.

Did Solly run rings round people and score for fun last night? No.
Did Owen ever score a goal like that? No.
Does Solly own a horse? No.

Apart from that he's just like him.

Give the kid a chance. He's done really well in pre-season by all accounts, but let's not build him up to be the next (first?) superstar from the Albion youth programme (sort of).

Let Oscar pick his team- if March warrants a place, I'm sure he'll get one, but I would like to think the Albion supporters will respect the coach's superior perspective on this, whatever he does.

Played very well against Norwich scoring a great goal. Let's give him time but I think he's going to be a good asset for us
