There’s an ‘odd’ity in PL betting.

A few weeks ago when an unbeaten Liverpool played at Villa, Villa were 8/1 to win.

Whilst when third placed ManC visit this weekend, Villa are 17/1 to win. Villa have just had two good results.

My wild guess/hunch is that ManC simply go into every game home and away as huge favourites, with the best and most expensive squad in football. With any draw or loss a shock. The huge money being lumped on them distorting the odds, making back bets on a win virtually a waste of time.

A printing money opportunity this evening?

Liverpool’s young third string, are playing Shrewsbury’s first team in an FA Cup replay.

9/4 is widely available on a Shrews win.

Or laying on Liverpool not progressing ... so also going out on pen’s, 1/1.15 (2.15 decimal).
