One of the greatest Britons, can't believe he is 90

Great man and a real asset to nature followers everywhere..... The 90th celebration programme raised my spirits!

First controller of BBC2 - he commissioned lots of great programmes there. Gave up the desk/corporate job to work on the anthropological and zoological topics he loved and has done more for the promotion of actual green policies (rather than the less sensible political ones the Green Party sometimes come up with) than almost anyone else in the UK over the past 20 years.
