...thanks to Sir GUS of FLAIRNIACshire, and his faithfull dog, MORRIS, I think it's time to ask this question:

We are 10 points off the play off places, with 30 matches to go.

Is the impossible actually possible? YEY or NEY?

I have a sneaky feeling there will be one or two threads towards the end of the season ((5 or 6 games to go) with people explaining just how we sneak into the last play off spot, after spending HOURS filling out that stupid results calculator that has been on the BBC website in past seasons and started life on the Grimsby Rivals site.

Simster - optimism like most things in life ends with disappointment.

I would love to think this possible but sadly I suspect that we will flirt with achievement, tease the prick of success, and gently lick the bollocks of victory.

But sadly there will be no money shot.

You don't get that sort of analysis from Steve Claridge.

Ah but last season although I didn't get all the results right in the run in I got the correct points and league position! Have to say it actually perked me up at the time as it gave me hope we could beat the drop so i'm all for the old calculator

I'm afraid it remains a shit piece of kit in my opinion.

Mid table looking up with a cup run would be success

Lot of work to be done to achieve this

Indeed Badger......and I will be on a luxury yacht with Escala watching them lick my Harry Monk off their instruments with a fat cigar in one hand and a glass of bubbly in the other.

You're planning a holiday at such a crucial stage of the season?
