Another item in today's Evening Post that has obviously taken a back seat to the big news is headed "Hotshot Henderson returns with a double".

It describes Darius' two goals for the reserves then has the following quote from the young man:

"The move to Brighton went well for me. Everyone knows the second division is a tough league to play in and I have another 10 games under my belt and that has helped me as a player. It's a bit more experience. My aim now is to get back into the first team here at Reading. First I'll have to wait and see who the manager is and keep working hard."

This does not gel with the majority of comments I have seen on here. Darius obviously thinks he did well for you, and presumably so does Stevie Coppell as he gave him a run of 10 games. So I wouldn't be surprised to see him replace Sean Goater for our next game.

Whitley, trust me on this one, Henderson was dreadful at the Albion, absolutely dreadful. We have a youth team striker in our team that is making Henderson look like a non league player now, so good riddance to bad rubbish.

other things to note, it was in the loan arrangement that we had to play him every possible game and Darius was hardly likely to say, ohhh I was shit at Brighton but I'm gonna try and braek into a first division team now...is he??

Tadley, Nr Reading
Dennis, I was in Whitley for a job interview today, and the whiff is as bad as ever, if not worse. Maybe it's something to do with what was going on over the road.

Hope your slide continues. Will be interesting to see if Coppell plays Henderson!

:p

Dwayne, I can't be bothered to go back through the topics, but I'm positive I remember you saying how highly you rated Darius Henderson on here not so long ago.

Tadley, let me guess. You were applying to work in the Reading FC Megastore? You're right though, the Whitley Whiff is back to its very worst lately. Thankfully, I am out of smelling range these days. All I have to worry about now I'm in West Reading is the drive-by shootings!

Hendonkeyson was a complete waste of space... glad he's returned... Chris McPhee is a much better player all round... better on the ground... better in the air... Stevie only played the donkey because he committed to do so when the loan deal was struck...

I have more chance of making the Reading first team than Henderson and I'm well over 40. If Coppout replaces Goater with Henderdonkeyson then thank f*** you've got them both

You deserve each other...

He has the grace of a lame donkey, the first touch of a rapist and the ambition of Stan Ogden (a very lazy character on Corrie for the benefit of all our younger readers).

He was frankly one of thr worst players to wear an Albion shirt in all of the years I've supported this club.
