Should Zamora be asked not to play?

As hinted at by Harty on the phone-in, it's perhaps wise that brilliant ex-strikers who have been top scorers at Brighton, should not be allowed to play against us.

Swansea, he rumoured, would have been asked to keep Leon from playing, as he would have run RINGS around our defence because he would have had no respect for Hinsh, Mayo or Butters, and they would have had to foul him and give up penalties left right and centre.

No to Zamora, what do NSCers think?

I do seem to recall Zamora putting the ball out for a throw with a strike in the last minute at Upton Park last time....

So it's Zamora, one on one with the keeper right in front of the massed Albion fans, he slots it in and the West Ham fans go wild. What does Bobby do? Celebrate wildly or jog away quietly.

Or does he somehow MISS the open goal?

Option 2.

He loves West Ham but still has a soft spot for us. He would not want to wind us up by going mad in front of us.

Agreed. He never seems to smile when he scores anyway regardless of the opposition!

Pardew would stop the game immediately and put on a substitute.

Of course he should play. We want to be able to say that we beat West Ham on equal terms. Plus it is a chance for Albion fans to sing all the old Bobby songs and show him we still care.
