Meopham, Kent.
I know DK has said that Bob will have 4 games to stake his claim to the job, which takes us to this time next week at the earliest before someone is named, but should DK think about changing those plans?

The reason I say it is that I fear taking our time we may miss out on the guy we want because they get a firm offer from another club in the meantime.

A club in a higher division, with a better ground (same old same old I'm afraid) could swipe them away from under our noses.

the managerial merry-go-round is in full swing now, and jobs are coming up all the time. The Millwall job is an excellent example. How would we feel if they appoint Steve Cotterill on Friday and it turns out that was the man we had as our no.1, we just wanted to giv Bob a couple more games.

I'd be livid. Come on Dick, make the second interviews today and tomorrow, then announce on Friday. If we hang around we may lose the man we want.
