I have new next door neighbours who appear to be as sociable and affiable as Alex Ferguson when Manure have lost.

I can't honestly say I care about next door neighbours and whether we get on or not. However, on Sunday, I left the house with the neighbour on his drive, and we exchanged hello's for the first time.

Imagine, then, my total horror when I got into my car, and noticed the polo shirt he was wearing had a Crystal Palace motif on it.

Should I just be grateful that the neighbours do appear to be social retards?
