whether Crawley get promoted or not?

Why does this rumour that Crawley turned us down in our hour of need still persist?
Rumour - wasn't this pretty common knowledge at the time?
At the start of the season I wanted crawley to do well but the arrogance they showed during their cup run ruined it.The lack of respect they showed man utd before they played was incredible.Claiming they were going to beat them on their own ground instead of saying what a privilege it would be to compete against one of the best teams in Europe.Yes they did give them a good game & probably were unlucky to lose. Not to mention the fact that that game probably financed all the big signings they made at the start of the season.
f*** that, I LOVED them for that. Usually when small teams play the scum you usually hear all the "Ooh it's such a priviledge to play against Man Utd, I've supported them all my life". There was none of that with Crawley, they just wanted to beat them which is what its all about.
You clearly didn't go to Stoke then. Nearly every "Crawley fan" had a man united shirt on in all the motorway services.f*** that, I LOVED them for that. Yep,
Their local.
Their in Sussex.
They are a football team.
So whats not to like.
So yes I care.
Only negativeness is FDM plays for them but thats just my personal opinion.
I like all local teams.
The closer the team them more affection i have for them.
And no, i don't hate Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, etc.

Agreed. Why should smaller clubs grovel at the feet of bigger opponents. It's not a privilege playing at OT, it's pure luck of the draw. Fair play to them I say. I know that if, in some parallel universe where I was good at football, I was in a team that drew United I'd be more than happy to say to the press: "f*** those arrogant Manc c*nts, I don't like them and never have and I'd love it, absolutely love it [to paraphrase king Kev] if we bring the fuckers down a peg or two."
