Yup, I can hear them going over. Cloud's quite low, not seen anything yet.
Weather's not looking too good but when is it ever!

Probably the downs. There are police notices all over Shoreham to try to stop people parking on verges etc.

The Beach is always a popular spot but personally I head towards the cornfield opposite the car sales place on the A27. The stewards try to stop you but it's a public footpath and there is nowt they can do. FREEDOM FOR TOOTING

Just walked my dog on the opposite side of the river (airport side is closed) lots of good view points and space to sit.

Seems much quieter than it used to years ago. I have lived here in Shoreham 17 years now and when I first moved in the Shoreham Air Show seemed to be really busy and noisy over the whole weekend. Pleasure helicopter flights buzzing backwards and forward all day over my house - fast sexy jet planes whizzing around, biplanes, bombers, spitfires, wing walkers.
Is it not as busy as it used to be because I haven't heard much activity since returning home from Pride parade this morning?

Because airbourne usurped the shoreham air show in popularity. Airbourne is the long lost great aunt who moves in and won't leave. You can't have an airshow without being able to see inside big military aircraft. Or watching landings/takeoffs. Airbourne is only popular because people don't have to journey to shoreham.
I wish the Avro Vulcan came over brighton... Sadly not. Airbourne hogging it.

Not looking good today either weather wise for the air show - drizzling here in shoreham and low cloud base don't think I'll see much from my garden today

xLast Sunday I was sat quietly reading a book when I was almost scared out of my wits by the sound of an aircraft that I was convinced was about to come through the roof. Looked outside to see the Vulcan turning just a few hundred feet overhead! Chuffin' AWESOME!

Not much traffic compared to previous Air Shows, just got soaked watching Junior play.
1-2 down at half-time but gave up as too wet, still he scored !

Seems very quiet this year - I thought that yesterday!
Every now and then you hear a sexy jet but the cloud base is so low it's hardly worth having a look - Lololol
Yesterday, I was emailing a mate and heard a jet jumped off the sofa ran outside to have a look and the door slammed locking me out the house!! No shoes on - so me and daughter locked out of house in our pj's in the afternoon!!!! Thank god my mum lives on the same street and was in and had a spare key!!!!
Had to hide in porch whilst daughter ran to nanny's!!!!

It's a washout today not heard a single plane today from the posh end of shoreham glad I used my ticket for yesterday's show now
