Sorry if i have missed something here!!!! Didn't Prescott himself that any site to be reviewed has got to be within the boundaries of Brighton & Hove !!!! i thought that was one of the stipulations that the club had to adear to, before planning permision is considered.. Therefore why o why has shoreham airport got to be reviewed as an alternate site..Perhaps you could help me with this perceus

Colbourne Kid mentioned that the area referred to is New Monks Farm. This would be in a letter to participants at the Falmer Public Inquiry.

A Shoreham Herald reporter contacted the Sussex Downs Conservation Board who said they had no plans to bring up Shoreham Airport and their attitude was neutral to all other sites. Except they may had a meeting since that date.

As it is the downs lobby that are the main political opponents to Falmer, it could disappear without trace.

I have NO first hand knowledge that Adur Council have been approached. I do not suppose they would bother to get interested unless there was a firm proposal.

Hazel Mckay (formerly Adur District Council Planning) representing the Regency Society mentioned Shoreham Airport (as a one-liner) in an Argus report (on the Internet) and that is all I know.

Can I assume that Falmer Parish Council will be presenting "proofs of evidence" at the reconvened Public Inquiry with a new Inspector?

And if the inquiry DO insist on considering sites outside the boundaries of Brighton & Hove can we set the auditors on the councils involved for wasting public money?
