Serious suggestions for tomorrow morning

Given that he annoucment is due at 9am when everyone gets to work I forsee NSC going into meltdown as 3000+ users (and thats not accounting for lurkers) all login at 8:55 and we'll all be non the wiser till other sites sort themselves out and actualy post the news up (which themselves might not cope)

Wouldnt it be a good idea to nominate an alternative board/source on which to check for the basic yes/no answer, preferably one that can handle a crap load of activity?

Or maybe we should have a no posting rule for 10 minutes so everyone can get on NSC and read the verdict?

Or can NSC cope, though i seemed to get alot of 503 errors today.

i was sort of aware of the other sources, just thinking about Bozza and his bandwidth.

I for one appreciate his effort in providing vital and esteemed resource that is NSC (shouldnt it be eligable for some of the licence fee or lottery cash as a public service provider ) and thought i might be a good idea to establish some way to help avoid it crashing tomorrow morning.

I've just started a new job where we are in the middle of changing offices and have no internet access.
